Iceland Eclipse Festival – Campground Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: These Terms & Conditions apply from the moment you purchase a camping ticket for the Iceland Eclipse Festival (“the Festival”) or enter the Festival’s camping areas. By purchasing a camping ticket, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Age Restrictions


• The campground is open to persons aged 18 and over.
• Minors under 18 may only stay on the campground if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Organisers reserve the right to request valid ID at any time.

2. Tickets and Refunds

• All camping passes are non-refundable. This includes cases of illness, inability to attend, or changes to the Festival schedule.
• Your camping pass does not include Festival entry – a separate Festival ticket is required.
• Camping passes are only valid if purchased through Fever.
• Camping passes are transferable only through Fever or sites approved by Fever.
• Resale of camping passes above face value without the organiser’s written consent is prohibited.

3. Types of Camping

RV / Campervan Pass: Grants access to a designated pitch for one RV, campervan, or motorhome. No electrical hook-up is provided unless specifically stated.

Glamping: Includes a pre-erected tent or other structure provided by the organiser. Guests are responsible for the condition of the interior during their stay. Damage charges may apply.

Bring Your Own Tent: Grants access to a designated area for pitching your own tent. Guests must bring all necessary camping equipment.

4. Check-in and Check-out

• Check-in times will be communicated in advance and must be respected.
• All guests must vacate the campground by the stated check-out time after the Festival ends.
• Wristbands must be worn at all times while on the campground.

5. Conduct

• Disruptive behaviour, or illegal activity will result in removal without refund.
• Respect your fellow campers and Festival staff at all times.

6. Vehicles and Parking

• Only vehicles with a valid RV/Campervan Pass may be driven onto the RV area.
• No driving is permitted within the camping areas during the Festival except for arrival and departure.
• Standard parking rules apply in all parking areas.

7. Prohibited items

• Illegal substances, weapons, fireworks, drones, or hazardous materials
• Open flames, large stoves, grills or other cooking equipment. Only cooking equipment connected to recreational vehicles and small, portable gas stoves and charcoal grills are allowed. 
• Glass bottles or containers not included within recreational vehicle kitchens.
• Professional cameras, video or sound recording equipment without prior approval
• Any unauthorized recording, streaming, or reproduction of performances
• All non-accredited vehicles including box trucks, trailers (except RVs with appropriate pass), motorized scooters, ATVs, golf carts.
• Large sound systems, high-powered lighting and lasers.
• Vending without permit, flyers, stickers, branded tents or vehicles.8. Facilities and Waste

8. Prohibited items

•Guests must keep their area clean and dispose of all rubbish in designated bins.
• Toilets, showers, and other facilities are shared; please treat them with respect.
• The organiser is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property. 

9. Weather and Force Majeure

• Camping takes place outdoors in Icelandic nature; guests are responsible for dressing and preparing appropriately for the weather.
• No refunds will be issued for discomfort or inability to use camping facilities due to weather conditions.
• If the Festival is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (“force majeure”), no refunds will be issued for camping tickets.

10. Liability

• Guests stay at the campground at their own risk.
• The organiser accepts no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage to property, except where required by law.
• By entering the campground, you agree to follow all safety instructions from staff.
